Stainless Steel Stub End

Stainless Steel Stub End

When a stainless steel stub end is paired with a loose flange, the process medium contacts only the corrosion-resistant stub end, while the external loose flange can be made of a different material and rotated for alignment. This configuration is suitable for corrosive media and piping systems requiring frequent disassembly.

Precision-Made for Reliable Performance

Manufactured with advanced CNC equipment and proven processes, our flanges, pipe bends, and fittings deliver accurate dimensions, stable sealing performance, and dependable installation across demanding industrial applications.

Product Specifications

Product Specifications:

Reference Standards: ASME B16.9; low-pressure, corrosion-resistant thin-wall systems may comply with MSS SP-43-2026 (Sch 5S/10S; short patterns also available in Sch 40S).
Configuration: Long-pattern or short-pattern stainless steel lap-joint stub ends; specifications must include nominal size, wall thickness, length, lap outer diameter, lap thickness, and fillet radius.
Materials: Stainless steel grades such as ASTM A403 WP304/304L, WP316/316L, etc.
Matching Components: Lap-joint flanges, gaskets, bolts, and sealing faces must be selected based on the same pressure rating system.
Pressure Rating: Determined by the stub end wall thickness, material, and the associated flange assembly.

Ordering and Acceptance Guidelines:

Ordering/Acceptance: Confirm the pattern (long or short), nominal size, wall thickness, barrel length, lap dimensions, fillet radius, and material; ensure compatibility with the matching lap-joint flange, gasket, and bolting system.
