Long-radius bends, fabricated from seamless steel pipe via localized heating and bending, reduce the number of welded joints and lower the local flow resistance associated with sharp turns. They are suitable for long-distance transmission pipelines and industrial piping systems requiring large bending radii.
Manufactured with advanced CNC equipment and proven processes, our flanges, pipe bends, and fittings deliver accurate dimensions, stable sealing performance, and dependable installation across demanding industrial applications.
Reference Standards: Induction-bent pipes for long-distance oil and gas pipelines shall comply with ASME B16.49-2023; process or utility piping shall comply with project-specific specifications and design drawings.
Structure: Hot induction bending of seamless parent pipe; specify bending angle, centerline radius (expressed as a multiple of D), straight end lengths, and tangent dimensions.
Dimensions: Specify pipe outside diameter, parent pipe wall thickness, minimum wall thickness after forming, and allowable ovality.
Materials: Seamless carbon steel or alloy steel pipe; material standards, steel grades, heat treatment, and welding end requirements must be clearly specified.
Inspection: Shape/dimensions, wall thinning rate, ovality, hardness/mechanical properties, and non-destructive testing (NDT) shall be performed in accordance with applicable standards; pressure rating is not designated by flange Class.
Ordering/Acceptance: Confirm parent pipe steel grade, outside diameter, wall thickness, bending angle/radius, tangent and straight sections, wall thinning rate, ovality, heat treatment, and NDT; do not mix standards for process piping and long-distance pipelines.
