A 45° butt-weld elbow formed from seamless stainless steel stock, designed to smoothly change the direction of fluid flow while minimizing the risk of corrosion or leakage associated with weld seams. Suitable for applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, and water treatment industries, as well as for high-purity piping systems.
Manufactured with advanced CNC equipment and proven processes, our flanges, pipe bends, and fittings deliver accurate dimensions, stable sealing performance, and dependable installation across demanding industrial applications.
Standards: GB/T 12459-2025, GB/T 13401-2025; ASME B16.9-2024 applies to export projects.
Structure/Dimensions: 45° long-radius elbows are the standard type; orders must specify center-to-end dimensions, outside diameter, and wall thickness; ASME B16.9 covers NPS 1/2–48 (DN15–1200), with wall thickness specified according to the connected piping’s Schedule (Sch) or design thickness.
Connection: Butt-weld; bevel configuration and root face dimensions are determined based on welding procedures and project specifications.
Materials: Common stainless steel grades include ASTM A403 WP304/304L and WP316/316L; seamless status is verified via the material test report; inquiries must clearly specify material grade, seamless/welded construction, heat treatment, and non-destructive testing (NDT) requirements.
Pressure Rating: Butt-weld fittings are generally not assigned a specific “Class” rating; pressure-bearing capacity is determined by a combination of material, wall thickness, temperature, and applicable piping design codes.
Ordering/Acceptance: Confirm NPS/DN, port diameters, wall thickness/Schedule, structural dimensions, seamless/welded construction, material grade, heat treatment, bevel configuration, and NDT requirements; pressure-bearing capacity is verified based on material, wall thickness, temperature, and piping design codes.
